Hi, my name is Pat Sawyer. As the heart of Sirius Coaching, I would like to welcome you to this website.

Why Sirius?

The business name that I adopted came from my love and connection with  Dolphin energy. Always attracted to the elegance and beauty of these creatures, a chance re meeting with a friend transformed the attraction into action. Since then I have studied the lives of Dolphins and have had the opportunity of swimming with wild Dolphins in Hawaii, the Red Sea and the Bahamas.

Sirius Coaching stands for everything potentially Dolphinlike in human life......love, peace, co-operative living, being in the present, creativity, play, accepting of others, responding appropriately to need.........

Sirius is the brightest star in the sky. Mythology tells us that Dolphins came  from the star to support we humans in our development and evolution and that they will return to their home when their job is complete.

In 1999, I was diagnosed with aggressive lymphoma. Choosing to refuse all traditional treatments, I designed my own healing plan. The book, coaching thru cancer is a testament to the success of that plan. Within 6 months, it was assessed that the cancer was in remission. Within a year, there was no sign of the lump and my health was good. Since then, my health has continued to improve. Today,  I am healthier than I have ever been.

The book is written in the style in which I approached the cancer, with a great deal of honesty and humor. It is not a prescriptive book. I do not personally believe that there is only one way that will suit everyone. I used many healing approaches in my own quest for health.
